Choccolocco Monsters Win 2024 SBL Finals against Atlanta Crackers

The Choccolocco Monsters defeated the Atlanta Crackers 8-1 in Game 2 of the SBL Finals, crowning them as the 2024 champions. The Monsters had an impressive stint in just their second year as a team, winning the regular season crown this year as well. 

The usual Crackers offense was unexpectedly quiet in the elimination game. Atlanta left over nine runners on base against terrific pitching from Howell Polk and Thomas Ballard. 

Even though they garnered three errors, the Monsters got eleven hits, as they maintained their top rankings in multiple offensive categories all season long. 

The SunBelt League Finals MVP award went to Choccolocco’s Taylor Harris. Harris went 2-4 with an RBI in last night’s contest.
